Cheat mode Create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Start Windows Explorer and enter one of the game's save directory (\data\saves\slot<number>). Open a command prompt window, enter main game directory, then execute the command ProjectX.exe saveEditor.xscr unpack slot<number>, (where <number> corresponds to the number of the saved game file to be changed). The game will load, but will not start. Press [Alt] + [Tab] to switch to Windows Explorer until a few new files become unpacked. Then switch back to the game. Press [Esc] to exit the game. Open the "globeSave.xsv", "mission.xsv", or "basesav.xsv" files with your text editor. To edit your base inventory, edit the "basesav.xsv" files. You can search for "units" then by soldier name. You can change maximum or actual values for any stat (for example, "shootingMAX" or "VitalityACT") as well as character experience, rank, action points, hit points, wounds, etc. You can change all max stats to 100 and do the same for all stats on all soldiers. By doing this, you can revive soldiers (give back HP and remove wounds) and kill enemies (HP 0). Note: You will not get any UFO parts if you kill all the enemies through editing the saved game. Simply leave one enemy with a few HP that you can kill easily. After editing is complete, rename the old "game.sav" file then run the command ProjectX.exe saveEditor.xscr pack slot<number> in the main game directory.
